Pretend Play, Sculpture 2ft x 2ft x 2ft
I am a student artist interested in the collaboration of all arts. I believe that modern and progressive art is all about combining visual arts with performing arts with directing with design and everything in between.
I have a background in ballet which has helped me in more ways than I can count. I am more aware of myself, of my movements and body, of character body language in theatre and in daily life and I am more aware of anatomy and of movement in art. My background in theatre has forced me to realize struggles, characters, technique, and respect. I am now submerging myself in drawing, design, and sculpture. Here are some works from my first year in art school (2008-2009).
